Welcome to FLINT!
Where Food Knowledge Meets Cultural Inclusion

We are an educational platform dedicated to public health, nutrition, and community wellbeing — with a focus on empowering minority communities and amplifying underrepresented voices.

Open-Access Materials

Open-access learning materials create pathways to opportunity — clear, up-to-date resources that make learning accessible, relevant, and inspiring. By sharing free textbooks, lesson plans, and educator guides, we lower cost barriers, strengthen learner confidence, and invite communities to contribute and improve content together. When high-quality materials are readily available and designed for practical use, learners flourish, educators innovate, and whole communities begin to imagine brighter futures.

Tell us what’s needed!

Fill out a short needs form to tell us which subjects, languages, and formats (print, PDF, audio, offline USB) are most useful in your area. Keep answers short—this helps us prioritize.

Courses

Our courses provide practical, skills-based learning in English, Economics, Nutrition, Public Health, Business, and Job-Ready Skills. They are designed to support education, employability, and community development through accessible, real-world-focused training.

Continuing Education for Teachers

Support for Communities

Education happens within the context of a larger community. Our approach extends beyond the school to help ensure students have the support they need to do their best learning.
